Tips on how to be a Great Nanny

A Nanny takes good care of one or multiple children in the parents home. She is also responsible for preparing meals and transporting kids to school.
Oftentimes, both families and nannies who are new to the field are confused by what tasks a nanny can or should be accountable for. Of course, each nanny’s job description will vary based on the individual family’s needs and the age of the children under the nanny’s care. However, there are a few things that are  common to almost every nanny position.
  
Traditional nanny responsibilities center on childcare. The nanny functions as the primary authority figure while the parents are away or otherwise occupied; this usually means that the nanny is in charge of everything that corresponds to the care of the children.
       
A nanny’s job is much more than the sum of her daily tasks, however, she needs to be able to tailor activities to each child’s interests, developmental abilities, and personality as well as communicate effectively with both the children and the parents. This requires a person with a high level of emotional intelligence.
I have here some tips on how to be a great nanny:
•Has a genuine love for children
A top characteristic of a great nanny is the one who truly love working with children. A nanny who is able to discipline the children according to the family’s preferred parenting style. Show them the love same as to their parents’ love and affection.
•Must be responsible
The nanny is in charge of everything that corresponds to the needs and care of the children. The kinds of tasks that a nanny will be expected to complete daily can include: Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children, bathing and dressing, changing diapers and potty-training, if age-appropriate, children’s laundry, planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the children and others.
•Trustworthy 
A trustworthy nanny is reliable, responsible, and can be trusted completely. Parents show their trust by allowing their children to be taken care of you.  Respect their home and property, protect their privacy and keep what you see and hear on the job confidential is also important.
•Fun
A nanny must enjoy what she is doing. You must be playful and plan fun, rounded days for the children. You should possess a great sense of humor. 
•Communicative
A good communication between the parents and a nanny will contribute to the success of nanny/family relationship. There must be a clear expectations and directions. A nanny will regularly share information about the child and honestly address any issues within the employment relationship.
•Consistent
When you are consistent, you have a sense of accountability and direction. Consistency at work may lead you finish or complete more tasks throughout your workday. It can also build self confidence that is important in becoming successful.
